Rbray47 Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Finally finished one this year. I haven't touched a kit since September of last year. I bought this kit shortly after it was reissued and had almost everything done except body paint and final assembly. Color is Phoenician Yellow, which I found out isn't really yellow lol, still like it though. Mild weathering and built straight from the box. 2
stavanzer Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Great Build. That looks like it could be an actual Subie Colour! Good Choice.
happy grumpy Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Nicely detailed little truck. I like the details in the engine bay. the outdoor photos are also nice. I wish I could take outside pictures more often. My free time and nice weather rarely coincide.
TonyK Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 You did a real nice job on this. Your pictures show the nice detail. The body was warped a bit on mine but I didn't notice until it was too late so tried to put it together the best I could.
Rbray47 Posted October 20, 2021 Author Posted October 20, 2021 Thanks guys. The body on this one was nice and straight, but the chassis plate had a bow in the middle.
Jonathan Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Nicely done! A guy I went to college with had one almost exactly like what you've done here. Except his looked worse for wear
Zippi Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 I had forgot all about the Subaru Brat. Pretty kewl little ride. nicely done.
espo Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Great looking Subby. These cars always made me smile and this has a great looking color and stripe combination.
Goose1957 Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Great build. It does look like a factory color. When I built mine, the suspension was fidgety and hard to get together. The body and chassis were straight though. Nice job. Jeff
slusher Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Great looking Subaru and so nicely detailed…
