Plashdaddy Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Hi Everyone, I’ve had a search myself so I’m turning to the Chevelle experts among you. Is there a kit / resin option around for these factory GM wheel covers? Any help is very much appreciated. While I’m here, I think I’ve pinned the colour down to ‘Grotto Blue / White’ but would love to hear an expert opinion. Looking to replicate this car from the family, SS396 Australian Delivered. Thank You. Peter
TransAmMike Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Kinda hard Peter to make out in the pic exactly what the wheels look like. Better pic would be helpfull. I'm wondering too if an Australian car would have the same wheel covers as an American delivered one.
Plashdaddy Posted November 2, 2021 Author Posted November 2, 2021 Thanks Mike, sorry about the pic. I did find them once on a Chevelle site, I’ll try and find them again for a clearer image. This is the only other pic I have on my phone, but it’s not much better. In fact it makes it look like a darker blue too.
NOBLNG Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Are these the ones? I have idea if they were ever offered in a kit.
ChrisBcritter Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Closest you'll probably find are either the wire wheel covers from the AMT '66 Olds 442 convertible, or the ones from the Polar Lights '64 GTO.
Plashdaddy Posted November 2, 2021 Author Posted November 2, 2021 That certainly looks pretty close, thank you.

Thank you Chris I’ll look into those, appreciate the help.
deuces wild Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 I had a black '72 Caprice Classic that had the GM factory spoke hub caps... Those were beautiful.....?
Oldcarfan27 Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 (edited) I think they maybe look like this, but without the spinners Chris may be correct, the Polar Lights GTO probably has the closest look to these. Edited November 3, 2021 by Oldcarfan27
