Painted Black Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Been working on this AMT Chevelle, got some paint on it, ain't perfect but I think I can work with it. I'll let it cure for a few days then rub it down with some Future.

Hey Mike, I like to use a cotton ball that is soaked in Future and just rub it on very lightly, doing several coast. Every time I have tried to airbrush I get runs and buildup in the corners. Got my wheels made up. Started with these unknown to me wheels Drilled out the holes and added some black paint, the rears are made from the kits wheel with the centers cut out. NOBLNG Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Looking good!? I will have to try that future trick in the near future.?
Mattilacken Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Nice! That wheel trick was neat! Will do that to mine as well!
Steve H Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 You had me at pro street… I’m in for the ride. Paint looks great, one of my all time favourite body styles. I own a 1:1 ‘67 Pontiac Beaumont, so I’m a bit biased. Cheers, Steve
Painted Black Posted November 8, 2021 Author Posted November 8, 2021 Thanks for the positive words, Doing a stance check, what do ya'll think? 1
Painted Black Posted November 26, 2021 Author Posted November 26, 2021 Tried to trim this with the pen, it went south bad. Got it in 91 right now, will also be doing a color change, I've just got too many blue builds already. I also have to redo the rear wheels, when I put them together I made them just a tad to wide and they rub the inside of the body, just have to split them and take off a bit. Will be back on track soon.
