PintoKING Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Also curious; didn't Moebius is owned by Pegasus? And didn't Pegasus recently aquired Galaxie Ltd? So any news of a "new" 46-7-8 Chevrolet convertible?
stavanzer Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 When that Highboy F- 4x4 hits, I may have to have one. Cool looking trucks. I have fond memories of riding in one in Leadville Colorado in 1980. 1

I think it would be safe to say that Moebius is looking at, and will eventually produce, a number of other body derivatives based on their 1965-66 and 1967-72 Ford truck tooling. As long as the new kit variations based on that tooling set continue to sell well, that is. Best...TIM 1

BubbaBrown Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Want to back date the 1967 ramp truck to a 1965, can I just change the cabs ? 1
Matt T. Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Yes. Here is an image of a Moebius build at a show earlier this fall. 1 1

It depends on how authentic you want to be. Several changes were made to the F 350 in '67. '67 was the first year of the twin I beam and 8 lug wheels in F 350's. '65-'66 F 350's used the I beam front axle with 6 lug wheels. Also, the '65-'66 F 350 floor pan was the older higher '61-64 F 100-F250 floor pan, it was higher with inner steps. But, if these changes don't bother you, the '65-'66 F 100 cab will adapt to the '67-'72 frame nicely. 1

BubbaBrown Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 I was just wanting to switch the cab with interior and leave the chassis alone. 1

I was just watching the 60 Minutes report on the California ports and it’s one huge log jam! GMA, Monday replied that they had moved 45 percent of the back log. I wonder how many models are in the port…
leafsprings Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 The most obvious external change on a '61-'66 F 350's was the use of higher cut out front fenders, also front bumper sits lower and further out. 1
stavanzer Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Any Idea when the Highboy F-250 4x4 Kit might be available to purchase? I'd like to add it to my 2023 project list! (sarc)
