OldTrucker Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 Another started kit that spent years in the back of the closet waiting for it's return to the bench.
leafsprings Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 All the hard work is done, and done very well. Getting close to adding all the gingerbread! Luckily, AMT offered us kits in the early 70's that resemble trucks from the 60's, my favorite era.
landman Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 Well, it looks like it won't be on the bench too long and a looker too.
trick my mixer Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 The red and black paint job are perfect for that REO. Want to see it done.
OldTrucker Posted December 2, 2021 Author Posted December 2, 2021 A little more done on the chassis. Finish up the interior next. Been down in the back pretty bad making sitting at the bench painful. Unfortunately no way to fix it.
Mopar - D Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Nice progress Johnny you have your REO looking good.
OldTrucker Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Just noticed I spelled Reo wrong in the heading. Interior done and ready also the hood and fenders.
OldTrucker Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 Don't know why my pictures are so fuzzy on my computer. They look great on my phone which is what I have been using to take them.
Mopar - D Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 I think it’s your computer they look great on my iPad. Excellent work.
Chariots of Fire Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Gorgeous job on that hood! Looking forward to seeing the finished work!

steveracer Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Oohhhhh. I like this build! Keep it up almost home!
OldTrucker Posted December 14, 2021 Author Posted December 14, 2021 (edited) Getting closer. Debating on using the ac unit. Most the compsmies that hauled livestok were to cheap to have it in their trucks back then.LOL Edited December 14, 2021 by OldTrucker 1
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 That looks great!! Very vintage looking!

OldTrucker Posted December 15, 2021 Author Posted December 15, 2021 Thanks guys. Don't know how much longer I can keep building. Some days the tremor in my left hand is so bad I have to clamp a part in a clothespin and hold it with the side of my hand against the bench to paint it. Assembling the mirrors is going to be a challenge!LOL
