c. jackson Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 where can i find one of these, or maybe even a 3.0? got a nice 2005 impala project going.
Casey Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 3.8L - 1/25 Monogram Chevy S-10, which is currently available in the kit shown below. The AMT second gen S-series Chevy SS/LS pickup and Blazer also have the 4.3L, but I think the Monogram/Revell engine is a bit better. More info on the Monogram/Revell S-10 kits here:
espo Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 The full size 1:1 Chevy S-10 and the GMC twin used the 2.8 liter V6 engine and later offered the 4.3 liter V-6 as an option.

There have been a few FWD kits that had various versions of the 2.8l and 3.1 pushrod engines. Short of late 60’s-early 70’s Jeeps and Buick GN kits, but I’m not sure if those have much in common with the FWD 3800s if that’s what you need.

The 1/24 Monogram Citation X has the narrow V6, as did the 1/25 Revell Pontiac Grand Prix, mentioned here: Edited November 29, 2021 by Casey

slusher Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 What about the Chevy Cavalier? I going to check out Casey’s link..
