Finally back to building after not have a modelroom for 8 months.

Here is the mock-up of my art deco hauler. The cab is a resin piece (can't remember who made it). The bed is 100% scratch built.  The racer is a '55 Corvette.

So much to do yet.20211128_150146.thumb.jpg.66666da61d772b1ae8b3de54cf97e4f5.jpg20211128_150135.thumb.jpg.536a35bdecb85635caa90f0d67a142bd.jpg20211128_150205.thumb.jpg.c8547b131623a2bb9e8d4a9a384cea29.jpg20211128_150123.thumb.jpg.5f057ada71a5e5e464c926aee4506ffe.jpg

Oh yeah.....that's a Looker in my books.  This is at the stage where you grab a cup of Joe (or a cold one) and set back and admire what you've accomplished.  looking good man.

The resin body is a great representation of the White cab. Besides the great looking bed the design of the sides looks good as well.

Holy smokes that’s cool!! Any thoughts on colors?

Here is the rub.  Do I go for a matching hauler and racecar combo. Or a mix of colors.    I keep going back and forth.

Off to a great start.  I like the tweezer holder.

Anything to hold a mockup in place for a quick picture.

Thank you.  I just had a rough idea and ran with it.  There were a couple of 2 or 3 steps back but in the end I think it has the deco vibe.

Nice looking mockup.  Where did the 5-slots mags on the Vette come from?

Hey Taxdude, can you upload some of that good looking weather you have outside your garage to some of us unfortunate fellows?  Thanks man.

Looks like someone else was thinking along those same lines. I love that art deco stuff also! 078a76189d2b37f626ec3606305d5083.png.debb56342a0305460f2a96d7f64ff1e4.png

Looks as if this builder found an old Fire Engine and turned it into a car hauler.
