1/18 diecast 1955 Chevy 3100 4x4

I was meaning to post these the other night. I suppose these should go in the long abandoned projects thread but it's a truck so I'll just put in here. 

I also did a blue street version that I posted a while ago.

They both started out like this one but I stripped the paint and now here's the 4x4.

I've been using this Tamiya lacquer and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Still have to lower the back end slightly and tweak the bed to fit correctly.

I actually wired the ignition on these (although poorly lit) with Accel colored wire and photo etched looms on both engines. I used the Molotow paint on the air cleaner and valve covers. You can see my sloppy job filling in the gas cap hole with J B Weld. I guess it still needed a little more sanding. These Super Swampers are nice. I hope someone puts them out in a set again.
