Dusty display cabinet with diorama and messy bench cleaned up and organized

Now that I am down to 4 stalled builds, I took the opportunity to pause and organize my bench. I found a few low cost desk organizing items online and cleaned up my bench. I moved the PC which has not even been turned for couple of years to the attic. I even pulled out everything in my display case to dust and reorganize it as well. It is nice to not have piles of dust all over my bench. I also found some items that have gone missing for awhile.

Display shelves look great Bill. And quite the collection of builds on display including what looks to be a rare '69 or '70 Grand Prix.

Looks good Bill, excellent lighting at the bench. Is that a pro street Javelin on the hauler? Hard to tell with the black body and shadows. If it is, I must see it please!

Steve, It is an old build of a Javelin/AMX. It has a story if you are interested.

Steve, Regarding the Javelin, this is kind of a custom Frankenstein build. Back in the 80's when I first got back into building briefly. I got this kit through a mail a mail order catalog. I started to build it stock but thought that was lame. I also had a 1988 reissue of a MPC flip nose 57 Chevy that was a drag race car version. The Chevy paint job came out like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH and this was before I learned you could strip bad paint jobs. Sooo... I ended up swapping out the chassis between the two cars. Since I did not like the AMX rounded square tail lights, I modified them to look like 68 Firebird tail lights. Looking at the front I always thought it would look cooler with a 69 Rally Sport Camaro hidden headlight treatment but I never got around to it. The build quality is pretty sad by today's standards but I like the subject matter.
