Fabrux Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Looks like MiniArt is tooling up some 1:24 versions of a few of their 1:35 tractor kits. Hopefully these do well and more comes along! 2
stavanzer Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Nice. But, really odd looking compared to American Tractors, Esp. the '38 & '50 versions. I believe these to be Lanz Bulldog tractors, but that is a guess.

Justin Porter Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Impressive to see and knowing Miniart they'll be exquisite. Miniart's 1/35th scale full-interior tank kits are truly cutting edge pieces, up there with Rye Field and Takom for some of the most detailed plastic model kits of ANYTHING you could currently purchase.
dbostream Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Not the 1:35 kits I wanted to see scaled up but hopefully they will do well and we get others in the future.
stavanzer Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 Wiki Link. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanz_Bulldog They were used all over Europe, and also in Argentina and Australia. It looks like the one place they were not used is North America. The American Tractor Industry was robust enough to keep a primitive tractor like the Lanz from gaining much of a foothold here. But, neat looking machines. One would certainly make a great load for the huge Krupp Titan truck the Revell just put out.
Brian Austin Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 Interestingly, the Lanz company was bought out by John Deere. https://antiquetractorblog.com/2016/10/18/john-deere-lanz-tractors/
stitchdup Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 They look a lot like the road rollers my local council had during the 80s. I might have to get more than 1 to try a conversion
stavanzer Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 After watching Utube Vids and reading more about these... Now I want one! Drat!
gray07 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 its has too be hard for tractor model builders not many out there, so these will be a welcome site

Hasegawa, Heller, Revell, Miniart, Meng, ICM, and a few others all have stuff available.
Brian Austin Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I'd be interested in a 1:24 '20s Fordson tractor or a Buffalo Springfield steam roller. The European kits haven't grabbed me.

bbowser Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Spotted this cruising the interwebs, anyone have any insight? Appears to be a Ukrainian company so that probably doesn't bode well.
vintagerpm Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Yes, Miniart is out of Ukraine but I believe they have moved production to Poland. They are presently in business. Known for their 1/35 scale diorama bases & building facades and figure sets. Their armor kits are good but they have lots and lots of parts, many of them fiddly. If its a subject you like and don't mind lots of fiddly parts, go for it. Check online suppliers such as ScaleHobbyist and Spruebrothers. Miniart web site: https://miniart-models.com/
GMP440 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Those would look great on a diorama clearing a grassy field for runway ME-109's or FW-190's parked in the background.
keyser Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Glad they got out. Amodel still in Ukraine. ????✊?
