happy grumpy Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Build from 2 Chevy kits. the snow plow and the Chevy sport. I extended the frame , the cab and the box. the fenders are extended from the front and the rear. The junkyard guy near my former home had one like this and it was about in the same condition. This is my all time favorite generation of chevy pick up. The cab and box arch up a litle bit but I did dare trying to fix it so I left it as is. regards, 11
Koellefornia Kid Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Great conversion and a nice weathering job!
Casey Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Nice. Better fix that broken saddle tank strap. ??
erichevy Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Great job on the crew cab. I am planning something similar on a Deserter. Just out looking for inspiration 1
SSNJim Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 (edited) Nice work. I've got a Deserter conversion in progress. The cab and frame are extended, and everything is roughed in. I'm hoping it comes out anywhere near as good as yours. If you're in the planning stages, check out the GM Vehicle Information Kits at Vehicle Information Kits | GM Heritage Archive | General Motors . Great place for dimensions and other specs. cifenet Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Very realistic and detailed! You did an awesome job making it look this good! Thanks for sharing this with us. 1
Zippi Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Pretty kewl looking Chevy pickup Mario. To me it looks like it just came in from the oil fields. Nice job. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Awesome work with all the weathering. It reminds me of my childhood, growing up in northern Ohio. I had a 78 model regular cab that looked very similar to your truck. 1
Badge73 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 This should have been a "Big Dooley", it's massive. Great work...no AC...HOTTT! 1
