The first movie role that I remember seeing him in was in the 80s movie Cloak and Dagger. He played a tiny role as a taxi cab driver.

Meat Loaf and Louie Anderson in the same day. And these things happen in threes.

Louie was one funny man. I wondered what happened to his career. It seemed to peak a long time ago and then he sort of disappeared. He seemed to be resurfacing lately.

I wonder if our parents felt this way during their later years as their peers passed away and we didn't even hardly know them? I doubt that my granddaughters know either one of them.

 Eight already:

1. Dan Reeves

2. Sidney Poitier

3. Peter Bogdanovich

4. Bob Saget

5. Ronnie Spector

6. Meat Loaf

7. Louie Anderson

8. Joan Copeland (playright Arthur Miller's younger sister)

It's doesn't matter if some don't consider some these people as "celebrities". They all were notable.

One of the great ones. From Minnesota.

So when I saw him here in Fargo just three or so years ago, the opening part of his set was very regional/local and he really made the audience feel like it was personal, just for us. Did a whole segment just on his winter drive from Duluth to here. Really very funny!
