carl63_99
75 MPC Vette. Tires came from I dunno where, but going bias-ply for the white lettering. Dechromed the wheels to repaint flat aluminum.

But…it’s not my build, so as you were! ?
Perspective Customs
Thanks for the input Jim. dropping the front end would certainly give it a more aggressive look but this one will sit at stock ride height all around.

A lot faster than you would think and road manners to match. Resist the urge to put a vinyl roof on this and make it a solid color. His was sort of a dark turquoise. Maybe Google the 1:1 and look at what the color pallet offered at that time.

Also thinking about turquoise.

Joe Handley
Need to order a clear body to chop up for a fenderless build, but I’m digging the more tuner-ish rolling stock from the Supra GR version of this chassis already, should look better in a darker color and with the fenders chopped off?
Joe Handley
Parts are in and here’s where I am at now with the above Traxxas Factory Five Hot Rod? with those fenders gone, it’s starting to look like a real hot rod now!

MeatMan
I took the time to look through all of the posts in this thread and feel like it represents the dreams, imagination, and skills of the folks in this forum. Great stuff. That said, here's my modest contribution. The original plan was to add a blower but decided against it.
