KC FitiWerks
I feel your pain! I'm in the same position now myself, and it doesn't help that I have a 3D printer.

1959
American car guy got out of the comfort zone... This is an Imai 72 Skyline which I got as a partly build project. As there is no engine or separate suspension in the kit and I got also a built Tamiya Mazda RX7 so I decided to put the chassis and engine from that to the Skyline. Way more work than I thought but now the modifications are done to get the wheels in place. Those are Aoshima 14" with spare part box tires. Lot of work still ahead. My son is building a newer Skyline so we have bit of a competition ongoing. 3

David G.
I've started a new build of an old kit, the Monogram '37 Cord 812. It looks like it should build up pretty good. David G.
Sam I Am
ADHD.....you start off wiring your distributer for your 59 Elcamino and while the paint dries you go hmmmm.... Lots of slicing and dicing yet to go. Mocked up on a stock chassis, so it's in the nosebleed section at the moment. .....oh, yeah.....the distributor..... Joe Handley
Picked up this little 1/43 Heller Citroen 11CV at the Butch O’Hare IPMS show a month ago (for A DOLLAR!) and decided I was going to build it as a mild Hot Rod, starting with getting the right stance. Since it is extra basic, the wheels are held on with just axles coming off the chassis plate, so I cut those off and replaced them with some rod of a similar diameter that will be glued to the top Of the chassis plate to drop it a little. I’m planning on shaving the handles, losing the bumpers and a few other things while cleaning up the flash.
Ferbz
Here's my current project: I got inspired to build a 49 Ford Shoebox version of Chris Piscitelli's rendering of the RamChargers High and Mighty drag car. An example of art imitating art imitating life? 😃
