Dominik Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 1965 Shelby Mustang GT 350 H (Revell, #07242) Started this Mustang last year and completed it couple weeks ago. i was busy and as every year, i will complete my started ones, before i start new builds. i have counted them...and there are 12 models in the waitingline...restaurations, flew-market-boughts or ebay-catch-of-the-days...and another stuff. Most you see the Hertz Mustang in black (imo), so i choosed for the first GT 350 a wimbledon white. Build out of the box, wired engine. i forgot to sand the fastback emblems down...and iM not happy with the golden stripes on the front vents. Feel free to say what you think ? 5
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Home Run. Super idea to have the gold stripe running over Wimbledon rather than the usual black. Loving the engine bay too.
happy grumpy Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Another winner Dominik. I really enjoy your builds.
espo Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Great looking build. Nice interior and engine details. Wasn't the Hertz cars the only ones with gold stripes on the white bodies?
TransAmMike Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Very nice Dominik? Did you have any issue getting the decals on...I sure did.
Venom Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Good looking Shelby... I love the gold on white??
mrmike Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Looks great! I built mine in the same color combination, but box stock several years ago for a Classic Plastic Model Club Expo Club Challenge.
kelson Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Beautiful!!,i want to build one except with the automatic transmission, but i can't find one in 1/24th scale.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Looks great! Love the white/gold! It's almost impossible to make decals look good over molded in vents.
