Cuba_13 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Good afternoon friends. So the "baby" Renault is assembled. Because it's -9 outside now and it's snowing, then the final photoset was done in photobox from Aliexpress. Photographed with my phone, so please excuse the quality. What can I say about the set - firewood-firewood, to make a normal model you need to work hard. This is especially true for the final assembly. You can’t really check it dry, and then surprises begin. The underhood was heavily modified, the headlights, the brake master cylinder made from scratch, the exhaust manifold sewing and the ventilation thing, which is in the corner near the brake cylinder. As a result, I am satisfied with the result, but I will definitely not return to Italeri soon. 3
Rich Chernosky Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Interesting subject, model is very well done. Renault was imported into this country by American Motors back in the 80's. I owned 3 of them and drove several of these. They were good little cars. Thanks for posting.
70 Sting Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Great job - especially under the hood. Very realistic. I like the black background as well, looks like asphalt. What did you use?

TonyK Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Very nice model you've built; especially the engine compartment. Photos look good too.
happy grumpy Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Nice looking 5. despite the issues. I will eventually get to build this model and thanks for sharing your thoughts, I will be better prepared. Great job on the details.
Venom Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Nicely done work Roman, the engine bay looks incredibly real with the details and weathering... Awesome?

Really well done under the hood, nice work overall. The 3 bolt wheels always made me a little nervous.
Cuba_13 Posted February 26, 2022 Author Posted February 26, 2022 Today I photographed the "baby" on the street in natural light.
