My Latest build. 1964 Comet. I actually owned this exact car when I was young. Wish I had it back. The side trim gave me one heck of a time. Still isn't perfect but I stripped and repainted this model 6 times. It's done.

Very nice... Hope they release this one and I hope they do this like the Chevy II wagon... Curbside and an updated full detail.

Hmmm.... off to write Round2 an email

Thank you Ray, Andy and Mario. I have 2 more of these kits in case I want to give it another go. But in another color so I can see the trim lines a bit better. . ?

Thank you Rusty. I was 16 years old and working at a service station part time after school. A man in his late 60's would go by with the Comet. I found it funny that he had a thrust muffler on it being it had the 200 cu in 6 in it. Back end rode really low. One day he went by and it had a for sale sign in the rear window. My step grandmother loaned me the $800 to buy it. First thing went the muffler. It sounded horrible. And the second thing was having new leaf springs installed in the rear which lifted the back end a lot. I had it about a year and moved onto something else. Sold it to a friend of my older brother who totaled it doing 100 MPH. There were no seat belts and he had little injuries which is amazing. Always wish I kept it.

We all have plenty of those "one-that-got-away" stories, don't we?! For me there are 4 stand-outs: my 64 Falcon, 56 Chevy 2 door sedan, '68 Chevelle SS396, and '66 Impala SS. Memories...
