happy grumpy Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 A simple but fun kit. I must have build at least 6 of these when I was younger, this is the only survivor that I rebuilt recently. The color is Tamiya TS 44 brilliant blue. Probably never offered in this color, but I think it looks cool. The only thing I might change are the wheels and tires , Fireball Modelworks Mopar Rallye wheels would look great on this. Regards, 3
Dave Van Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Very nice CLEAN build!!!! I like the kit warts and all!!!!! I have built the Yellow and Orange of the factory colors....want to build all of them!
AMT68 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Wow, that is a brilliant build. I actually have a can of that color that I've never used. What color primer did you use under the base coat?
Dragonhawk1066 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Looks good! Hopefully this one is in the Revell re-release queue.

What color primer did you use under the base coat? Thanks guys , for this one I used Tamiya gray primer, their primer is really fine it lays smooth, I don't have to sand. For lighter colors I use their white primer. A little pricy but well worth it IMO. 22 minutes ago, Dragonhawk1066 said: Looks good! Hopefully this one is in the Revell re-release queue. Thanks, Agreed, this one is on my must have list.
Classicgas Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Very nice. Correct that it wasn't a offered color, but looks good.
David G. Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Great work Mario, you're right about the color too. It looks great! David G.
espo Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Great looking color and clean stock style trim. Nice to see one the way it would have come from the dealer.
Snake45 Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Very sharp, very clean! A couple of your pics could be mistaken for real. Well done and model on!
