I was in a local HL store today and they had some on the shelf. I realize there is a little territory between us, but it might be worth a visit to the local Hobby Lobby to see if they have one.

has anyone built the "street rod" 37/38 pick up?

I started turning one into a much more accurate '38 (the Revell '"38" gets everything but the grille wrong)  :

I have built one of these stock ones and found it to be a nice little kit.

Isn't that the kit you started with over here?

That is the Monogram Checkers kit, not the Revell 2’n1 street rod kit.

It's the exact same kit, other than the Checkers version doesn't have the optional '38 nose and stuff.
