1955 Chevy Cameo

This is the AMT 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup Truck that I painted last year. This is a stock build except for the wired distributor. The paint is Anita's Cafe Au Lait acrylic paint, and it was cleared with Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Lacquer.  The interior was painted with Valspar red primer and cleared with Rust-Oleum Matt clear.  This kit had some fit issues and despite everything I read about the glass not fitting the body, mine seem to fit pretty good.

Great looking build and I like the sort of stock style. Glad to hear you didn't have any problems with the windshield. Mine almost didn't get built because of it. Interesting color and goes well with the interior.

I love the color too! It has a believable stock appearance to it. I'd kinda like to see one built in this color with simple painted white bumpers and steelies. Nicely done!
