Michael, are you shooting metallic? I've found that the leveling thinner can change the color/appearance quite a bit. I'd spoon-test it beforehand with both leveling thinner and IPA.

I shot Tamiya metallic blue on a T-Bird and the leveling thinner made it lighter and much more silvery; the IPA gave me the desired effect of a deeper, richer blue.

For the most part no. Mostly just base color glosses and flat/semi black. There is a little titanium gold that I'll need to spray though so thanks for the heads up
