afx Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Anyone tackle removing the side trim from the Moebius '66 Pickup?
hct728(Bob) Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 (edited) Yes, easily carved off with a sharp #1 knife and sanded flush. You have to be careful at the cab rear corners, but it’s still easier than on the later “bumpside” cabs Sorry, I don’t have a better picture, but where I’m headed… Edited March 1, 2022 by hct728(Bob)
afx Posted March 1, 2022 Author Posted March 1, 2022 (edited) Looks good Bob. I want the more austere look for my project as well. Edited March 1, 2022 by afx
64Comet404 Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Sanding and scraping worked for me. I also applied liquid cement to those areas while sanding, to try and remove any 'memory' from the area prior to painting. Hope this helps!
