My latest completion. OOB except for 5-spokes from an unknown kit (white plastic sprayed with Molotow). This kit is so so. Inaccuracies. I had to cut off the headlights from the front bumper/grill/headlight assembly assembly to get the grill with the bumper onto the body.  There are no outside mirrors with this kit either.

Primed with black Createx sealer and painted with Createx Pearl Green. Cleared with Future, air brushed .

You did a nice job.  Had a hell of a time with the grill/headlights when I built mine, too.

Thanks Jim, I was reluctant to cut the headlights off but it was the only solution I could come up with.

Sweet looking Chevelle Mike. I like green you picked. The outside photos really make it stand out.

Hey Mario, thanks alot.  I guess I didn't mention in the post I wasn't going for the factory shade of green. I just like the look of the Createx pearls.

Yeah Buddy.  That's a Looker for sure.  The green looks killer and the wheels look nice.  Nice job.

Beautiful looking paint finish and color. I agree this kit takes a little reworking on the builder's part. Considering the age of the tooling and the sometimes-dodgy proportions that were considered normal at the time, this still makes a great looking model, case in point.

Nice work, Mike!  I can't tell you had any problems with it at all!  ??

Thanks John.  I surprised myself on this one?

Good, clean build of a less than stellar kit! Love your paintwork.

Thanks you Rusty.  Probably one of my better acrylic paint jobs so far.

Thank you David. Yep, it has it's issues but turned out nice.

Great looking build and color which appears similar to Tamiya TS-20. Nice work picking out the rear marker lights and grill divider.

I'm often surprised Round 2 doesn't mold a simple drivers side mirror which could be used on a number of different models from this era.

Hey there Tom. Thanks for the compliment about the marker lights. I used a toothpick.

That's nice! Love the colour, those wheels look nicely detailed too.

Thank you Gareth.  The Molotow Chrome works well.

Looks good Mike! Yes that is an iffy kit. I did the same thing with the headlights, and my door window trim was almost non-existent. I sanded down what was there and used strip styrene to make my own.

I agree with the "non-existant" window trim, actually the drip rail chrome. I generally don't do much extra work on most of my models and did consider doing something with the drip rails but just skimmed what was there with Molotow on a tooth pick. Good enough for me.
