Just an FYI… I baited everyone! The Nova engine is 1:25th. Shows you that the kit makers were not even close ack in the glory days!  T3D stuff fits just as nice! I just got some Pontiac engines and plan on a column write up. It will go in my Formula 400.

My bottom line is don’t overthink things. Support the guys that sweat the details.

I think you're just supporting exactly what I said though where did this engine come from What kit did it come from What aftermarket supplier That's all relevant just cuz one thing says it's 124 and another thing says it's 125 doesn't really mean much in less the person can tell you this is accurate scale and by accurate scale I mean you knew the size of the original down to the millimeter and then you scale it down appropriately to be true scale let's take the Pontiac for example obviously I scan the engine my scanner is accurate within 0.2 mm that's ridiculously accurate for what we're talking about now I scale it down to 4.17% not 4.00% but that is the difference between the two so I can say that it is true scale 124 accurate within a hundredth of a millimeter. This conversation and I'm not saying you're not on my side I fully realize you are though most people are not on my side but I can get hung up on the very fine details in fact I need to be hung up on the extreme details of exactly what I'm doing because in my opinion that's What makes something a high quality product the fact that you went to the extremes of making sure you're accurate down to the order of less than 1 mm at full size

I recently acquired this Chevy engine from Texas 3D Customs in 1/32 scale (on their eBay store you can choose the scale) - It was such high quality I thought I should share it. There is very little discernible layering on these parts (all parts are 1/32 scale in photos) and very little cleanup on visible surfaces. There are some support “nubs” but they are easily knocked/sliced/sanded off. These are some of the nicest 3D parts I have purchased. He sells on eBay and, I believe, Facebook also. He has a slant Sox in the works…so, he will be getting more orders from me.

Note the front bracket in the blower. Not something even remotely possible with molded parts.

There are belts included also - I’ll add photos later

I agree this guy does some really nice work I've gotten three motors and one bellhousing and transmission what I wasn't expecting to see the linkage for the transmission.

Charles's stuff is so nice I couldn't help buying not just one but three and I think there's a couple others I'd like to have too. These are all future motors for future projects special ones Texas3D are nices people the only thing I do not like is the price it's almost as much as the kit but quality makes up for it.

You have to understand unlike a kit this is not injection molded by the thousands with little human interaction A lot of time goes into doing this and I work many many hours serve busy season but it's a whole different level of detail than you're going to get with injection molding. And like any other custom made handcrafted and I know a printer did it but there's still a lot of manual labor that goes into these It's going to be at a premium.

New Ardun finally done with this one. Also noteworthy if you look closely the belts are slightly a different color, I have a new mix I run just for belts that makes them much more durable.

Hi I really do like the motor you sent me and along with the others eventually they all will be in something or save it for my 53 Ford pickup I was building as a Bonneville truck from the 50s

I didn't mean it the sound the way you took it I understand on the time the labor and all that stuff I understand that and I do think this is better than an injection mold a hell of a lot better and why I have bought as many motors that I have from you there are others that I do want to get to that you have you do have some pretty nice stuff and I enjoyed the time talking with you you made me understand a lot of other parts of the operation.

I didn't take it as you were upset by it commenting on why it is the way it is If I could produce these in bulk quickly the price wouldn't be this high I try to keep my price is fair for the amount of time I put into it was just stating why it is the way this

Like I said the quality of what you produce is well worth the price that you charge I am happy with your product and there's a couple other motors I am interested in when I can afford it I had to put a $6,000 motor in my truck so all I can do now is drool at your stuff on your app.

Oh that 1600 Volkswagen motor I got you tried talking to me out of it to the other one but I figured out what it's going to go in I'm going to build a little VW dragster I remember seeing from England.

Made my first order a while ago and couldn't be happier with the product or the service. Even the shipment cost to Finland was reasonable. We will certainly buy some more in the future! Interested to see the new products coming up.

I appreciate the improved fan belts. Only thing better would be no belts just pulleys. But I know that can't happen. Speaking of your accurate scaling , I purchased  a  1/16th for a T Bucket build and it was a wee bit wide for the frame so I purchased another in 1/18th scale. Problem solved As you know I have purchases many engines from you and will continue to do so, Keep up the great work.

So the whole belt issue some people want them some people don't I get a lot of people complaining BLS doesn't have them and then I get the opposite pick one or the other but producing pulleys on their own well that's just extremely time-consuming as far as scaling I scale to real life not to kits

You have to do what works for you. My only problem is I cant find anybody that makes separate pulleys in larger scales. I thought about  getting a Hobby Lathe and making my own put have no place o set it up.

So I have been very quiet recently but I am moving houses, and while the house is a downgrade it does have this I am working on. I have the shell converted to a single door, all that's left is the electrical lighting and HVAC.
