chris chabre Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Hey everyone, Im looking to buy Squadron coarse sanding sticks in bulk since its my most used stick for rough out. Ive seen the medium in a 50 pack, but my searches have come up empty for the coarse version. The part number on it is 30501 Thanks
slusher Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 The last ones I bought was EBay and.Bobby lobby. Check Model roundup". 1
NOBLNG Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Sorry, I can’t help with a source for the Squadrons. But why not make your own? It is likely cheaper, and you can have any grit you like and any type of paper. I like to leave the paper hanging over the edge a bit on one side. That way one side of the stick can sand up close to a sharp corner, and the other edge can do a slight radius. 1
64SS350 Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 I would also recommend places like Walmart, Amazon, or online beauty supplies. I found some at Walmart, 3/16"x 3/4"x 6" long, a few different grits, stiff, but cushioned core, with the nail files. 1
chris chabre Posted March 16, 2022 Author Posted March 16, 2022 @NOBLNG I do make my own, but I like these for blocking out my custom bodywork. Plus it keeps me from having tons of sandpaper everywhere while Im working haha

Straightliner59 Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 There is no reason to pay those prices for quality sanding boards/sticks. Buy Tropical Shine boards on Ebay. Black are coarse, blue, medium and pink, fine. They also make a 4-way polishing stick. They are washable and very durable, and at a much lower price!

I started using them about five years ago. They're all I buy, anymore!
