? difference b/t Ferrari TR512 and Ferrari Testarossa?

I have been told there is a difference.

Changed motor position a bit, not huge visual differences. My fave is 512TR of the bunch. 
512M was cluttered, had round taillights in rear grille, looks like afterthought, as did nose intake revision. 
Fujimi 355 wheels on Testarossa quick and easy approximation. Rosso did nice 512TR kit ages ago, still see them occasionally. 
Dan, forgot RM did 512TR. Have it and Rosso. Nice kit, it and Testarossa both. 
They moved engine down quite a bit to help the, umm, polar moment and brutal spins for the unfamiliar/skill challenged.

Testarossa first year had single high mount side mirror. Added second next year, 86 or so. 
pics: 2 later 2 mirror Testarossas. Silver 512TR nose changes, rear basically same. Last 2 are the 512M variant with covered lights,blobular bumper, and goofy rear lights.

The Monogram 512TR actually builds up quite nicely.

From what I know, the 512TR was just a continuation of the Testarossa, with very few changes. Basically just a new name on the existing car.

It's still one of my fav cars. The 512TR being my fav of the series. And so far, it's one of the only Ferraris I can actually fit in.
