Kodiak Island Modeler Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Uwe, your timing couldn't have been better. I.m involved in a restoration of an old GMC. Much of what I'm doing is the same as what you've already done. This will be a big help towards my restoration. You've done an excellent job on your truck. I find this also interesting as I have two children that work for Safeway, and one who's now in the Navy that used to work for the company. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
Old Albion Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Uwe, Very Impressive. I like the weathering detail, very convincing. Good Luck with the rest of the build! Best Wishes Dave

Kodiak Island Modeler Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 People talk of "raising the bar" for quality. Your truck IS the bar.

juergen Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 hi uwe !!! the next absolut amazing built from you. you are the "dirth" - master it looks like so real and very nice !!!! congratulation for this built !!! greets jürgen
Kodiak Island Modeler Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 You have an excellent attention to detail. I really like the "clean" areas around the door handle where hands would brush off the dirt upon entry. The soiled area at the lower section of the grab handle is also quite authentic. This is truly a work of art.
Twist67 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Hi Uwe, again an outstanding build. You keep attention to all the small details...that´s truly amazing... Regards,Chris
