Safire6 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 I just finished this today. Not my best work but I'm happy with it. Built mostly box stock except I used the rear tires and plate decals from the AMT '67 Chevelle pro street. Drilled out the holes in the rims. A few mods were necessary to make things fit right, especially to the cut-out in the hood and the top of the grill. Tamiya TS-20 metallic green and TS-26 pure white. Used Molotow on the trim. I'll be adding a side view mirror and Super Sport decals for the rear quarter panels (if I can find the decals). Comment welcome! 6
Snake45 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Very sharp, very clean, killer stance! Don't think I've ever seen a green Nova before--looks great! Well done and model on!
Zippi Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Man that 66 looks good. I like anything Pro Street. That color looks really nice. Maybe some bigger exhaust pipes like 2 1/2" to 3" to let that puppy breath ☺
espo Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Great looking color. I'll bet that really looks good in the sun light. Very clean looking conversion to the Pro Street style. I like how the carbs just poke out of the hood.
happy grumpy Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Great looking nova, I like the white over green stripes. Nice shinny metallic green.

I almost didn’t put them on thinking I’ll wait to use something else before I post pics. But I just wanted to ‘get r done’ and move on to the next build. I’ll probably change to larger pipes in the future. Thanks for the comments!
lazlow Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Real nice, the front wheels turned gives that car magazine feel which is great, love that you lost the scoop and just the dual quads out the hood, well done, 1

I didn't like the looks of the scoop in the kit so decided to delete it. But I wish I could have gotten the dual quads and filters centered better in the hood opening.

BeakDoc Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 That’s a tough looking Nova. Great color and stance.
Dennis Lacy Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Nice! Looks fantastic in metallic green and I’m generally not a fan of rally stripes but they work great here. I also like the addition of the treaded tires.
rsmodels Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Looks great to me and I'm viewing on a 42 inch screen.
