gseeds Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 (edited) As a means to get over a builders slump, I started building these cars from my past, no pressure, don’t have to be prefect, not for contest , just kick back and build for the sake of building, and having fun , I’ll build a couple more of these cars from my past then I’ll get back to my more serious builds. lately I’ve been on a trip down memory lane, the past couple of months I’ve build and posted here on the site a couple models of my old cars from the 70’s and another model of a ‘57 Chevy my older brother drove to high school in 1966, I’m in the middle of building old cars from my past , at least the ones I have photos of, next on my list is this 1967 Chevy impala SS that my older sister Margie and her husband Bob bought back in 1968 , the car was a year old when they bought it, I myself was about 8 years old at the time and remember this car fondly, over the years they owned a few pretty cool cars and cooler Choppers , but this car was always my favorite , the paint is 1967 Chevy impala Emerald Turq. Met from Model car world , and the vinyl top is MCW black vinyl paint, and worked very well, the kit is Amt 67 impala, chrome wheels and baby moons are from the parts box , I’ve added a couple pics of the real car, thanks for looking!!
