vamach1 Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Have a great 12 lap drive and rode with one of the instructors. My sone and daughter got rides too.

Although I had it floored on the straights they did not want you accelerating on the corners so I feathered the throttle but never touched the brakes. The drivers that were giving rides had faster cars and I rode in one and could tell they would not held back. It was a blast and none of the other participants passed me so I must have been doing okay. Edited March 27, 2022 by vamach1
stavanzer Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 How Cool is that, Rex! Wish I could do that. A Bucket List, "E" Ticket Ride for sure!
PappyD340 Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Very COOL, a buddy of mine did this a few years back at Charlotte with the Richard Petty experience he said it was an experience of a lifetime!!
iamsuperdan Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Would definitely make for a fun day! I plan on taking my kids to a track experience event once they turn 18. The boy will be this summer, daughter is still 4 years away though. There's a good one at Area 27 in BC. Or possibly the Radford Racing School in AZ.
espo Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Looks like a great experience especially with your children. I got to do the Petty Experience here at the KCI Raceway several years ago. While if was great fun I think the governors on the engine of the car I drove was a little over active. I think I could have turned a better lap with my own car.
