I like it! I never understood why AMT made it a dual axle. Looks so much better as a single.

It does! I think I will build mine this way as well.

Just a guess. AMT tooled it that way because:

1. They were just taking shortcuts to use an already existing kit, and they chose not use Dual Rims.

2. Somebody thought is looked 'cooler' and 'Coolness' was a 'Thing' back then in the marketing of kits.

3. Got me! I can't think of any other reasons.
