crazyjim Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 This 1968 Dodge Dart is my latest build. I used the 440 engine and sprayed it with HOK kandy root beer. 2
cobraman Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Another cool looking model Jim. Color pops outside.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Looks good in Root Beer! Nice work on the interior.
happy grumpy Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 A beautifully detailed Dart. The outside shot really brings the color to life. A wolf in sheep's clothing.
Bainford Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Nice looking Dart. I'm really digging the colour. That's beautiful. I have to get me some of that.
crazyjim Posted April 5, 2022 Author Posted April 5, 2022 Thank you Trevor. Paint is HOK kandy root beer over solar gold.
espo Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Beautiful looking paint color and finish. Great detailing on the engine and the interior.
Joe Lange Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Great build Jim! Really nice color. I bought a can of Dupli-Color 'Cordova Brown Met' that I plan on using for a Jo-Han '66 AMC Marlin' this summer. I'm guessing that the gold basecoat is a must to bring out the color like yours. Also like the Florida license plate!
TransAmMike Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Really good looking Dart..........nice job Jim.
Zippi Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Good looking Dart. Nice looking stance. That looks nice out in the sun.
crazyjim Posted April 6, 2022 Author Posted April 6, 2022 Thank you James, Joe, Mike, Lazlow, and Bob. I used a kandy paint Joe. It's much more transparent than "normal" paint and so the base coat reflects through the color coat.
crazyjim Posted April 6, 2022 Author Posted April 6, 2022 Thank you Greg. The sun is reflecting off the gold basecoat.
