ATHU Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 (edited) Hello guys! Here's my build of an automotive icon - Citroëns "Deesse"("Goddess") Body color is Rouge de Grenade(Grenade Red) which was used by Citroën for the DS/SM models in 1972. Roof is Gris Argent (Silver grey) I like the Ebbro DS kits and have several of them in my stash so stay tuned for more of these coming up. Thank you for checking it out!! Rich Chernosky Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 What a stunning model. And the photography is perfect for it. I have this kit and your post is inspiration. Thanks for putting it up.
Matt Bacon Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Just beautiful. Flawless paint and detailing… which is what such an icon deserves. Love the backdrop, too… best, M.
happy grumpy Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Great model of a car way ahead of it's time. You did a superb job on it and the background is so appropriate. Ebro kits are pricy but they are stunning. Thanks for sharing this Anders.
Bainford Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Beautiful Citroen, and lovely paint. Overall a very nice build. I've been wanting to build a Citroen for some time, and I can see now I really need one of these.
doorsovdoon Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Beautiful. Such an awesome car was the DS. Unfortunately they were overcomplicated, hugely advanced for their time so not many left now.
bbowser Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 All I can say is WOW! I'll bet the paint on real ones isn't that nice.
89AKurt Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 I'm not familiar with the brand, but know the classic car. Love your studio too! Very nice build.
Kah puts Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 That looks marvelous. I'd expect Inspector Clouseau to jump out!
bisc63 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Very nice build of such an interesting subject. It would never have been confused for any other car on the road!
Doug 1061 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Beautiful work and photography. I had forgotten all about these cars. Haven't seen one of these on the road since the 70s.
Spottedlaurel Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Very nice! You've really done it justice, it looks wonderful. Always a pleasure to see one or two of these at 1:1 when I go on holiday in France.
Tommy124 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Excellent model of a beautiful car, great images and a perfectly fitting backdrop!
70 Sting Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Beautifully done! Paint, engine, colour choice… everything.
1959scudetto Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 C'est une voiture formidable, Anders - marvellous, as are all of your models! And nice photography with a fitting background, too. I have avoided this kit up to now (I have 2 nice 1/24 Hachette diecasts), but I've been tempted now - only kit issue as far as I can see: the front track looks a bit too wide.
