I’m thinking about running the two lines from the trailer to the truck. What color, or colors, should they be? Where would I hook them up to the truck tractor itself? Thank You In Advence.

Now the color code is red and blue for the air lines and green for the electric wire. This hasn't always been the standard and will greatly depend on the time period you're replicating. Typically the lines come out from under the cab or sleeper between the frame rails and are either hung on the back of said cab or sleeper, or the headache rack if installed, or possibly on a "hose-tenna" or "pogo stick" especially if the frame is on the longer side.

Hoses mounted to rear of sleeper

Great, thank You. That Sunoco trailer looks like it has connections for two hookups only. The movie came out in ‘84, so would that be right?

There are three connections, two air and one electrical. The electric cable would have been black. The air lines would have been black with straight hose or probably red and blue with coiled hoses. On a 4070a the air lines usually come out of the back of the cab just above the engine tunnel, but with the kits long wheelbase it could be moved to the frame.

Awesome. Thank You. Now, would all three lines hook up to the trailer as well? How would they do that?

This is a similar Fruehauf set up. Notice the air hose connections are on each side and the electrical connector goes in from the bottom towards the left.

Great. Thank You. Now to build my lines and the hook ups on the truck and the trailer.
