Decided yesterday to get started on my next build, wanted a simple easy kit. After looking through my stash decided on MPC'S 1974 Plymouth Road Runner. Got the body in primer yesterday and some paint on it today. Going with Hemi Orange for the color, not sure about the interior yet in between black or tan.

Looks slick, how bouts a white interior?

Thanks, never thought of white. That might not look to bad.

White with white stripes

After googling it white interior might be the way to go, already got white stripes in the kit supplied decals I'm planning on adding to the body

A Friend of mine had a '73 'Cuda that was Hemi Orange with a white interior,  Looked great.

The more pics I find online of the combo the more I like it.

It's nice to knock together a "box shaker" from time to time.

Looks like you're off to a solid start.

Thanks David, so far it's all going together with no issues.

Nice to see one of these being built. I helped a friend build his 1:1, and have collected the stuff to replicate it.

The kit is pretty bare bones but builds up easily. Always liked the look of the 71 -74 Road Runners.

Got the interior painted and assembled, came out decent. Found myself a brown sharpie which makes detailing woodwork much easier.

Not much left on this one, just a little more assembly then can call it finished.

This is coming along quite nicely. I really like the interior details and under chassis details. The body color is spot on and should look really good with the white interior. Excited to see the finished product.

Thank you pal, yeah I noticed that after the glue dried.
