roadhawg Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 I searched the forum twice, and couldn't find where anyone had posted this before. This was a recent visit to the new Savoy Automobile Museum, located in Cartersville, GA. Beautiful place, I suggest if you're in the area check it out. 1
bamadon Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Another great selection of pictures. Cartersville isn't that far from me, I'll have to try and check it out.
Bainford Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Great photos, thanks for sharing. A very cool collection of cars. Stuff sure is shiny there.
Rodent Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Good stuff, but they missed the original selling price of the Henry J by a couple grand.
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Thanks for the reminder. I mayhap need to go up there soon.
misterNNL Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Super sharp photos. Crisp focus and depth of field. Thanks for including the data displays with all details as well. I want one of those big shiny hood ornaments for my front yard too!:-)
dino246gt Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 What a great selection of automotive history! And some gorgeous wood as well! Everything is so beautifully presented, just a fabulous museum!
espo Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Don't remember seeing this post before, I would remember this. The level of restorations done on these cars look to be concourse quality. I like seeing some of the Kaiser and Studabacker cars that you wouldn't normally see especially in this condition.
TransAmMike Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 I agree with espo, don't remember this post. I hated to get to the end of the page. A lot of old cars in museums don't reach the impeccable level of finish seen in these cars.
bisc63 Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 This has a true museum atmosphere about it. The treatment of every car and display is truly outstanding in the world of automobile "museums". Thanks so much to "roadhawg" for bringing it to our attention, and for the excellent photography. I need to take a pilgrimage there.
Zippi Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Great looking cars & trucks. Nice to see what a Henry J Kaiser actually looks like other than a Gasser. I've have never seen those style novelty doors that were on the 1954 Kaiser Darrin Series 161 Roadster. Nice pics. Thanks.
