JTalmage Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 I started a build thread on this car way back in 2016. Well, I painted it and put it back in the box. Got out of models for a short period of time while my job got busy. Last year I finished it. I made my own seat decals, used a M.A.D. distributor for a 4cyl and that's really about it. Paint is rattle can lacquer mixed at the auto body supply store right before they stopped doing lacquer forever. Cleared with Tamiya clear and polished out. I later added a license plate but I don't have a pic of it with it. Here's a pic of my seat decals. I went on the internet and googled orange plaid and found this. Copy and pasted a bunch of them together in the size I liked, and cut them out/trimmed them to fit. 2
Oldcarfan27 Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Love it! Looks great in orange. Charlie's Angels anyone?
carrucha Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Nice build. The orange really looks good on a Pinto.
TooOld Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 Cool looking little wagon , those colors and chrome wheels look really sharp !
espo Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 I like the way you did the interior decals and the body as well. You captured the look of the 1:1 Ford Pinto with this trim option.
Koellefornia Kid Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 Nice and clean build of a cool little wagon!
Zippi Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Good looking Pinto Wagon. That supply store lacquer orange looks really nice. Nice job.
