iBorg Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 I've started to consider adding a Cricut to my tool collection (thanks John!). When looking at them on line, there's seems to be as many variations as Revell Camaros. Are there any models to look for or avoid? More than likely I'll be looking for a used one. I'd like to use it for cutting paint masks as well as thin plastic. I'd love it to cut aluminum, but doubt that's practical. I've also considered a cheap laser engraver but I'm not sure how that would do cutting the paint masks.
Nacho Z Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Mike, I asked my wife which one she has. It is the Maker. She said there is a Maker 3 now. The advantage of the Maker is that you can install different blades vs. one fixed one. Let me know if you have any specific questions that I may be able to help with.
