Bainford Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Turned out great, Kurt. A cool concept, with interesting and well executed mods and details. At the beginning of your build thread, I wasn't so sure about those wheels, but they are actually perfect for this build. Very cool, Kurt, and very well done. 1
slusher Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Outstanding work Kurt, I enjoyed watching! You built a masterpiece! 1
drodg Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Followed this in work in progress and just a great job. 1
Mattilacken Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 came out great! The kit seemed so bad when you started but it was in capable hands for sure! I would not have made it so far! Great pics as well ? 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Really like unusual builds like this! I had a lot of fun watching the wip and it turned out really nice, Kurt! See you at the starting grid... 1
Steve H Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 Ya….just “a few modifications”. Excellent build Kurt, I enjoyed the WIP on this. That multi piece body would have made me wave the white flag. I figure you must be part rabbit, because you go down lots of rabbit holes… You seem to very good at finding, just one more thing to add. Thanks for sharing your build. Cheers, Steve 1
bill_67 Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Turned out just amazing, I'm glad I followed along with the w.i.p. so many great details ? great build, thanks Kurt! 1

Thank you for the emblems, that made a HUGE improvement! Since I took these pictures, have added some detail, and now I'm trying to control my OCD about fixing things, because I know when I start trying to fix something it gets worse. Improved the trunk handle, gloss painted the c-f fender guards, added tow hooks. I'm not happy with the gap under the headrests, working on that. Not happy with the windshield, but will let that go. The sun visors are too big, no way that would work with the steering wheel, possible to make smaller. Needs a radar detector. Anyway, when I'm finally satisfied, will take glamor studio pictures and post here.

Took "studio" glamor shots today, outside in the shade under various cloudy sky, with a thunderstorm in the distance so I had to work fast just in case. ? Start off with open hood/trunk and closeup shots. Random view shots. Hardtop or not shots. License disappearing act, sort of required for doing the Cannonball. Keep the shiny side up shots. While I was taking pictures, a Javalina trotted through the yard.
