LennyB Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Coffee, yelled the man with the grey whiskers, where is my coffee I can’t think until I have my fix. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) "Fix it again, Tony" was the oh-so-clever refrain of folks who didn't quite understand Fiat's cars; same mindset brought us "Fix or repair daily" about Ford. Edited January 19 by Ace-Garageguy 2
LennyB Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Ford also refers to “found on road dead”, likewise Tony could also stand for To New York. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 19 Posted January 19 New York City used to be somewhere I loved to visit, but haven't been back since my last ex ruined the Christmas trip we went on with the worst attitude I've ever encountered from a woman...even though we stayed in the Carlyle, went to a Broadway show, live jazz at Birdland, and took a helicopter ride over Manhattan when the World Trade Center was still there; there's just no pleasing some people. 1
LennyB Posted January 19 Posted January 19 People, who need people are the luckiest people in the world sometimes and then sometimes you’re better off alone. 1
A modeler named mike Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Alone is not to be confused with a loan, one you have piece and quiet with no one to bother you and the other, your never left alone till it's all repaid. 1

Tom Geiger Posted January 19 Posted January 19 pieces of snow are falling from the sky here and I'm not going out there until it stops, probably not until sometime on Monday
A modeler named mike Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Monday is looking like when I'll be on snow duty also, but it's gonna be bone chillin with the winds, single digits.
Tom Geiger Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Digits can get frozen so be sure to wear heavy socks to protect your toes and gloves to protect them fangers from frostbite 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Frostbite may affect your heart if you wear it on your sleeve. 1
Tom Geiger Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Sleeve will freeze if you keep wiping your runny nose on it! 1
JollySipper Posted January 19 Posted January 19 'IT' isn't the name of an alien spider that lives in the sewer........... oh, wait, it IS isn't it? 1
Tom Geiger Posted January 19 Posted January 19 weather can be the deciding factor as to whether I emerge from my house and fortunately I have no where to go tomorrow !
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) Different strokes for different levels of ability. Edited January 19 by Ace-Garageguy
LennyB Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Ability to see into the future would come in handy with model building as you will know in advance which projects you’re going to screw up and completely avoid them. 1
slusher Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Them you need too fear more then spiders are poisonous snakes..
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) Snakes have a hard time with mongooses. Edited January 20 by Ace-Garageguy
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) Modeling little cars and trains and airplanes will never earn you the kind of money the other style of "modeling" brings in. Edited January 20 by Ace-Garageguy
