Forbidden: You don't have permission to access this resource.

Every so often for several months at a time, when I try to access this site, I get a "Forbidden: You don't have permission to access this resource." message. I found that if I use a VPN, I'm able to access the site, but I don't know what's causing it. I've tried different browsers. Does anyone have any ideas?

We've seen this from a couple other users in Japan. We don't know what causes it, only that it seems to come and go.

What type of computer are you using? It would be helpful to get the output from a traceroute command to see where it's getting blocked.

I get this message when I use my Windows 10 desktop or my iPhone.

Our server was down for a while. It's fixed, and everything seems to be working. (knock on wood or touch wood if you speak British English)
