here she is! in all its glory! except for the missing dist and altenator shes finished.......

Parts run down:

Hood scoop from older 1970 Boss 429 Mustang kit

Rear spoiler from recent re-issue stock AMT mustang kit (also pinned it to the hatch)

Chin spoiler from orig. 1974 Issued MPC mustang ll kit stripped and repainted

Tires from parts box

Wheels from Street Machine 1968 Elcamino

Firefighter mustang will be donating its new chrome bumper (this one is very worn)

Red carpeting installed inside

and the front bucket seats from a tuner car AMT......

Engine parts from 1995? Ford pickup 2wheel drive

After much reworking with the suspension etc i finally have a set of wheels that should look ok on it!

Great looking Stang II

I agree completely. I'm actually assisting in something VERY similar, but in 1:1 scale (95 EFI Cobra engine in a 78 T-top Mustang II Rallye) The 5.0 gives the build a unique touch.

Who'd thought that one day these would be cool classics?

I'd drive that any day.. :wacko:

Me. Loved 'em since the seventies. The Mustang II is why I'm still doing any modelling at all.

So would I. I'd like to drive the Rat Snake (black on black T-top King Cobra) daily, too, but its one of those works in progress...I've only averaged three times a year since I got it...
