raisin27 Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Finished my dirt tracker but as always in the pics I see a few items that need some attention! 3
sflam123 Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 That is GREAT work! Reading was a track that growing up, I always read about and longed to visit, esp. to see the USAC sprint cars and the modifieds. It unfortunately closed before I could get there. Thankfully, I've had the privilege to seer races at Ascot and Manzanita before they closed!
TarheelRick Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Looks like it could get the job done. Very nice build, I am a sucker for the old-style modified coupes. Got my first introduction to them back in '63 at Bowman Gray Stadium with Shorty York, Glenn Wood, and the likes.
Pierre Rivard Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Really nice. Beautiful finishes with just a touch of dust and weathering. Super!
Vic Florie Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I know his son who also built a replica of his dad's car. Nice job
OldNYJim Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Looks awesome! I like the weathering, and the colorscheme is awesome! Are the stars and stripes all paint?
