Exotics_Builder Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Drove the 150 miles up to Puyallup Washington to do the Goodguys Show. Sunday is wind down day, so a lot of cars that were there Saturday did not show again. There still were quite a few cars and I took a few photos. Also entered some models in the contest and came home with these: Here is a link to the album of photos I took https://www.flickr.com/photos/142581265@N08/albums/72177720300820778 3
espo Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Thank you for sharing. Beautiful looking cars and trucks and a large model turnout. 1
forthlin Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Beautiful cars. The '55 Olds conv. in particular. My Mom had a '55 Olds 98 Starfire conv. back in the late 50's & early 60's. 1
misterNNL Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 Define "wind down day" Please for we the Canadian slang term uninformed lower 48 residents.
Kenmojr Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 Love that Merc. Will check out your Flickr stream...
mrm Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 I went to the Nashville Nats the last two years. Either I am not understanding where this is happening or Goodguys don't have a model show at their Nashville events. Thanks for the pictures.

I guess it is possible not all Goodguys events have the model show, but most of the ones I know do. This one was the 34th Griot’s Garage Pacific Northwest Nationals; July 22-24, 2022; Washington State Fair Events Center in Puyallup Washington which is about 35 miles south of Seattle. I looked at their 2022 event schedule and there was no model car contest listed for that event. We had over 400 models entered or displayed at this event, and the Pleasanton Goodguys is even BIGGER.

I don’t know. I’ll try to figure it out next year and if they don’t have one, perhaps I can help organize it. By the way, you have quite few pictures of the model tables, but didn’t show your models and which won what. C’mon now, don’t be too modest. ? Edited August 18, 2022 by mrm

mrm Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 I have to say, this is the first time I’ve ever seen a woody VW bus. Brilliant! 1
