rsmodels Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 I had planned to post my 60 Plymouth wagon next but didn't want to steal Gerald's thunder when I saw the great looking one he posted a few days ago. Mine can wait a while. I built this wagon using an original kit. This and the 55 and 56 Revell 1/32 models are some of my all time favorites. I have quite a few of each, both built and unbuilt, along with some of the old hobby shop displays. I hope you like this one. It's painted the correct Wimbledon white (thought the name in 57 may have been different). I used Modelhaus glass and AMT 1961 whitewall tires. I foiled all the wood framework and then painted it and removed the paint from all the round mounting bolt heads. Feel free to comment. All comments, questions, and suggestions are welcomed and I do read them. -Rich 5

ea0863 Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 It's such a tasty color combination for a rare vehicle! Thank you for posting
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Wow; sweet build. That took some real skill and a lot more than average effort.
happy grumpy Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Glad to see and old kit so well build and painted. Great job sir.
TooOld Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Wow that's beautiful ! Love the detailing you've accomplished , well done !
espo Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 I remember trying to build one of these when they were first released. The body parts didn't go together as well as yours to say the least. Beautiful looking paint and wood trim.
Bainford Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Very tidy Country Squire. It's great to see these old kits built, especially when done as well as this one.
Bucky Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 That is one fabulous Ford! Top notch work on this one!

I restore when I can but do use NOS kits like this one from time to time, especially if I have more than one. -Rich
AMT68 Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Excellent work overall and detailing the side wood grain. You have some really cool looking vintage kits.
