I took a little break from model cars and this is my first build coming back. A Revell kit built mostly stock except for a small suspension lift. I wanted to do my usual underhood detailing, but the kit is pretty sparse in detail and the spark plugs are modeled into the engine block. I decided to use my model railroad background and use chalks to weather it. Thanks for looking.

Seems like most go overboard on the weathering but yours looks just right to me !  A little dirt and grime on slightly oxidized paint , definitely a driver and not headed to the scrap pile .  Well done !

Great looking little truck. I like the lightly dusted look on the finish. The more you look at the pictures the more little details start to appear.

That's cool. I remember having this kit when I was a kid. It was molded in blue. I built it and gave it to a buddy. He ripped off the stock suspension and added monster truck wheels and tires. Seeing your build took me back to the 80s. Thanks!
