cjmin75 Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 (edited) Hello all, Just finished Tamiya's Jeep Wrangler YJ, painted with Verdoro Green. Added some details to the headlight reflector and side maker lights, otherwise it's OOB. Thank you for looking! Edited August 12, 2022 by cjmin75 4
PacificEd Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I love the Verdoro green. It is clean build. I wonder why Tamiya hasn't offered this kit for so long.
Jordan White Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 That's an excellent looking build! The green looks great, it's a pretty close match for the moss green pearl they offered towards the end of the YJ and during the start of the TJ.
espo Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Really clean looking build. The colors for the body and the interior look great together.
kelson Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Beautiful color combo!!,i would love to see this kit reissued someday.
Zippi Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Great looking pair of Jeeps. The paint on both looks fantastic. Nice detail work.
Bugatti Fan Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 A very nice model. I think I that Tamiya is the only company to make the YJ Jeep with the rectangular hradlamps. Tamiya missed a trick when Jurassic Park was released with this kit!
TooOld Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Really sharp looking Jeep , excellent detailing !
spencer1984 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Excellent work, probably the sharpest build I've seen of this kit!
mrm Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Great looking model. Love the color. Whatever it is that you used on this build, it represents the nasty carpet in the back of the real thing perfectly.
rsmodels Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 That is a fantastic looking model, congratulations! It looks like it has the same wheels as my 1:1 92 XJ.
Street Rod Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 Great job! Very neat work on both Jeeps. Well done!
