A brand new 1954 Ford C 800 with 38' Heil tanker has just been delivered to Carnation Milk Company. Truck specs are 1954 Ford C 800, 317 Cargo KIng V8, heavy duty 5 speed with 2 speed rear axle, full air brakes and 11.00-22 wheels and tires. Had fun with this one, the Mill City Resin Ford and the old IMC tanker have a period vintage look. Used a lengthened Dodge L 700 frame, AITM ( now Keystone)  F 800 wheels, tires and saddle fuel tanks. '54 grill is an aftermarket resin piece.

That just looks Awesome! I like everything about this build!! A friend of mine used to pull a milk tanker like this one. Milk tankers were not allowed to have any baffles in them because of the probability of bacteria growing on them. When the tanker was half full it made for an interesting drive. Excellent work on this one!!!

Thanks Gator. Still working on the '58 Esso tanker trailer, but my collection of '50's Fords are growing ( and getting dusty? ).

Great build Tommy, I love FORD trucks of this era.

You and many truck lovers in this category are masters at making these resin kits so beautiful and real.  It often takes a lot of love to put them together and correct their little flaws but you have obviously found the recipe! ?
