Revell 5 window. Chopped the top, opened the doors and cowl vent. The rear deck was already cut out. Art Latski wheels, parts bin tires. Aircraft bomber seats. Lengthened the frame. Was going for a Boss 429 motor but that idea changed.  Transmission 4 speed. This is a very long project. I started this years ago. Everytime I start it , some other project has to be finished, so here we go again. Leaning toward a flathead engine. Do not know a color yet. I know it’s not going to be red. I was thinking a mango color but who knows, that will probably change. Here we are so far……..

Those seats look geat, if a little uncomfortable.

Go Man-go sounds like an interesting color, maybe a metallic orange or Calypso Coral?

Like where it's going so far.

I also like the looks of the seats, just wouldn't want to have to drive very far if I was 1/25th my size. With the narrow tires a Flathead would look good, or even an early OHV V-8.

Nice project.  Love those bomber seats but it would have to be a city Coupe for me.  My old bones can't take that long of a rough ride.  I like that the doors and deck lid is opened up.  Nice work.

Thank you guys,

thank you Oldcafgan27, yes I don’t think I would like the ride either. A friend of mine has seats like this and we’re actually not bad. But we did not go far, just a cruise in the city. I was actually thinking of maybe a pearl orange but I keep having thoughts of black. I still do not know.

Hello Carl, thank you. Just kind of winging it on this one.

Thank you espo, and yes I have a flathead ready to assemble.

Nice chop job. Really like the wheels.

Did you lengthen the frame because of the first engine you were going to install?

Thank you Chevy ll. And yes the first engine was going to be a Boss 429. But as in life, things change. Have a flathead measured for the frame,

Stance looks great.

I know I've seen those photoetch seats around before, what is the source?

Thank you Mr Metallic. I believe Art Latski has them. I actually forgot but I buy everything I can thru Art.

With the those wheels, tires and bomber seats, this baby is just begging for a flat head... Looks damn cool.

Thank you Kenmojr. And yes it’s being fitted for a flathead. The first mock up was a boss 429 . But the build has changed to a flathead. Just winging it on this one. Things have changed so much from the start of the first mock up. Have to settle down and figure out a plan. The color is the problem in my brain. I wanted to go a mango pearl. But my brain says black. And my heart  says maroon. I have been looking at to many hot rod journals.
