DanL Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Started with the Revell Fast and Furious 1970 Charger and added my own take on it. Shaved wheel lips all round for a smooth look. Lowered all four corners to the limit without major wheel tubbing changes. Added 20 inch wheels with low profile rubber. Satin black trim. Shaved door handles and a custom side exhaust as per 1970 AAR Cuda ( not sure if the side exhaust will stay). Used Krylon spray paint for a Glossy Medium Dark Grey look. More pictures to come... Cheers DanL 5
Bills72sj Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Definitely looks good lowered. More pics please.
Koellefornia Kid Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Looks nice! I would like to see more of it, too!
espo Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Great looking paint, Silver always played well with the body lines on these Chargers. The stance looks really aggressive and goes along with the wheels.
happy grumpy Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Love this. I like the background and the shadow effect.
DanL Posted August 22, 2022 Author Posted August 22, 2022 (edited) Working on more pictures... Edited August 26, 2022 by DanL edit
DanL Posted August 23, 2022 Author Posted August 23, 2022 (edited) I'll never be a great photographer... the pictures don't really represent the color that well but it's close. The blower triple butterfly intake is coated with very soft chrome and it starts to degrade as soon as you touch it so it looks a bit of a mess. Edited August 28, 2022 by DanL 1
DanL Posted August 23, 2022 Author Posted August 23, 2022 (edited) 16 additional pictures... Edited August 28, 2022 by DanL 1
Just Jim Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Very cool, not a color I would have ever thought about but it works well
DanL Posted August 26, 2022 Author Posted August 26, 2022 14 hours ago, Just Jim said: Very cool, not a color I would have ever thought about but it works well The camera doesn't do it credit... it's a very nice and glossy dark medium gray. I have seen it on some Audi's and it looks great.
DanL Posted August 28, 2022 Author Posted August 28, 2022 Considering changing the exhaust but i always liked the Cuda AAR look... any opinions? DanL
Street Rod Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Good looking Charger, I like it! I’d say leave the exhaust as is, it fits the build very well.
